P. Lion, pseudonym of Pietro Paolo Pelandi was born in Alzano Lombardo on 29 June 1959. He is an Italian musician, singer and record producer. The "P" of his art name came from his initials, while the lion symbolized his father's noble house. In 1983 he produced an audition for the American Disco label and released his first single "Happy Children" (produced by Davide Zambelli of the band Scotch). The text of the song, written in one night, spoke about  children, money, of that world we wanted to see a little cleaner. In 1984, the second single "Dream", came out and a couple of months later he published his first album "Springtime". In 1985 Pelandri passed to the Durium label and recorded in sequence "Believe" and "Under the moon". In 1988 P. Lion was in the team that realized "De nuevo tu", remix in italo disco key famous song by Mogol and Battisti “Ancora tu” sung by Betti Villani. In 2005 he founded, together with Davide Sapienza and Tullio Lanfranchi, the record label Faier Entertainment, where he curated artistic production, recording studio and the department of music editions. 2007 he built the P. Lion Studios in Bergamo, but the project lasted only 5 years and the studio was dismantled and from 2012 he collaborated with another music studio in Bergamo dealing with editing, mixing and mastering, while continuing the compositional activity.
