Brando is a project born in 1983 by the composer, musician and producer Alfredo "Larry" Pignagnoli. The song "Rainy Day" was arranged, played and sung by himself while the text was written by Ivana Spagna. Ivana's brother, Giorgio Spagna, also took part to the project. The album was produced by Alessandro Zanni and Stefano Cundari, owners of the legendary Italo-Disco label "Memory Records". In the early 1980s, Larry Pignagnoli will take part to other projects, including "Mirage" and "Fun Fun" and in the early 1990s he will be the producer and composer of the great hits of "Whighfield". In the late 90s he will collaborate with the English singer "Ann Lee".
