Sue Ann Carwell, aka Sue Ann, is an American singer born in Minneapolis. Sister of singer Carl Carwell, Sue Ann embarked on a musical career towards the end of the 70s collaborating with the famous singer "Prince". As a stage name, Prince proposed to Sue Ann that she be called "Suzy Stone" but she refused as she preferred to use her first name. The first songs released as a solo artist were heavily influenced by Prince. Sue Ann began to stand out when she changed genre from R&B to disco. Sue Ann had the vocal skills that could have placed her among the best dance singers. In 1981, Pete Bellotte and Giorgio Moroder produced Sue Ann's first album. The single from the 33 rpm, My Baby My, will become the most successful of the American singer.
