In 1983 the record company "Zanza Records", after the positive experience of Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti's "Pink Project", tried to replicate the results through a new project. "Samoa Park" was a studio project whose public image was entrusted to the singer Loretta Ferrarato alias “Barbarella”. On the other hand, Franco Rago and Gigi Farina, who had already made various publications for "Discomagic" and "Durium" ('Lectric Workers, Atelier Folie, Expansives and Wanexa), were the producers, incognito because they were hidden by the imaginative pseudonyms Kandinsky and Multiplay Back. The first single released under the pseudonym "Samoa Park" was "Tubular Affair", a medley of two famous songs by Mike Oldfield: "Tubular Bells" and "Foreign Affair". Another one immediately followed, "Monkey Latino" ("Monkey Chop" by Dan-I + "Paris Latino" by Bandolero) and then concluded in 1985, but under the label "Many Records" by Stefano Scalera, with "One Night In Bangkok Medley With Midnight Man”, produced by Tony Carrasco, medley between Murray Head's “One Night In Bangkok” and Flash & The Pan's “Midnight Man”. Scalera was no stranger to operations of this type. In fact, in 1983 he had already released under his label, the first single of Club House entitled "Do It Again (Medley With Billie Jean)". The song was a mash-up between Steely Dan's "Do It Again" and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". A few months later another followed, "Superstition Medley With Good Times", which crossed "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder and "Good Times" by Chic. The creator of both is the musician Luca Orioli.
