El proyecto musical "Deborah Haslam" fue fundado en 1984 por el músico y compositor veronés Giuliano Crivellente en colaboración con el productor Mauro Farina.
La canción "Let Me Trouble" fue cantada en el estudio de grabación por Elena Ferretti. Elena nació en 1960 en San Donato Milanese y fue una cantante italiana polifacética activa en el contexto de la música eurobeat e italo-disco de los años 1980. Su carrera estuvo marcada por una amplia gama de alias, incluidos "Rose", "Sophie", "Helen" y "Helena". Criada en el mundo musical desde la adolescente, empezó a cantar en coros de iglesias y, con sólo 20 años, tuvo la oportunidad de sustituir a Rossana Casale como corista de Loredana Bertè.
A principios de la década de 1980, Ferretti hizo coros en varios proyectos y prestó su voz para numerosos jingles publicitarios. El punto de inflexión decisivo en su carrera se produjo a los 23 años, cuando conoció al productor Mauro Farina, quien le propuso grabar canciones de baile.
