“Dee D. Jackson”, pseudonym of Deirdre Elaine Cozier, was born in Oxford (UK) on July 15, 1954. Dee D. Jackson was a singer, musician and film producer. In the 1970s, she worked as a film producer in Munich, Germany, before moving on to music, working with Giorgio Moroder and Keith Forsey. His first single, Man of a Man (1978), did not achieve the hoped-for success but shortly after, he managed to achieve great international fame thanks to the songs "Meteor Man" and "Automatic Lover". In the video clips and live shows, the artist wore a new and curious "spatial look". With both tracks and the album "Cosmic Curves", Dee D. Jackson will remain at the top of the charts for several weeks in Europe, Brazil, Argentina and Japan. In 1979 the new single "Fireball" was released which thanks to the notoriety achieved previously, was proposed by many radios and in numerous European and South American discos. The single "Wich Way Is Up?" Will follow in the late spring of 1979, and for the occasion Dee D. Jackson will abandon the spatial look. He will participate in the 1979 Festivalbar and in a tour around Italy with a provocative and very rock look. In 1980 he recorded in Los Angeles the second album "Thunder & Lightning" (in Italy released as "The Fantastic") and the single extracted, "SOS (love to the rescue)", entered the Top 10 in Brazil, Argentina, Japan, France, Germany and Italy. In 1982 she moved permanently to Italy, precisely to Baia and Latina in the province of Caserta, she married and gave birth to a son. In 1984 there will be a great return of Dee D. Jackson with the Italo-Disco single "My Sweet Carillon", a song with great attention to detail and much appreciated by the public. Dee D.
